Jerry Herb has been a successful search executive for over eight years by leveraging his corporate business career in finance, information technology, administration and operations. He joined McCarthy Bertschy & Associates in July 2002.

In his past work experience, Jerry served as Chief Financial Officer and Group Executive of Bell & Howell Company. His other business experience includes CFO of Bell Packaging Company and senior financial positions with the Bendix Corporation and Cross and Trecker.

His insider’s business and finance experience enables Jerry to quickly understand a client’s business needs and the responsibilities of the position itself. This allows him to concentrate on the intangibles in a candidate that will add significant value to the client’s business. His executive search expertise is focused on senior positions in Finance, Information Technology, Operations and Human Resources. Jerry is also highly qualified for Board of Director searches with an emphasis on “Financial Experts” to serve on Audit Committees.

Jerry is a member of Financial Executives International and the Association for Corporate Growth. He serves as a Director of Orchard Village, a residential and vocational training community supporting people with disabilities. He has an MBA in Management from Michigan State University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
