Andrea Dieckmann
Andrea Dieckmann joined McCarthy Bertschy as a Partner in 2014. She helps clients recruit VP and C-level leaders to their organizations with a focus on private equity firms and their portfolio companies, public and private companies. Recent sector experience includes FMCG, food & beverage, medtech, contract manufacturing, industrials, and technology services.
Prior to her current position, Andrea worked for the University of Chicago for five years in the Office of Career Advancement, leading the pre-professional “Careers In…” programs, which provided industry expertise and skill-building opportunities to students to supplement their rigorous liberal arts curriculum.
Before and after business school, Andrea spent a combined four years at McKinsey & Company in the Chicago office. She identified strategy and operational improvements for global multinationals in the industrial, healthcare, and technology sectors.
Andrea received a BS, magna cum laude, and a MS in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, traveling, and watching Michigan football. Currently she serves on the Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana and is a founding Board member of Holly’s Heart.
FUN FACT: Andrea received her PADI scuba diving certification in Sydney, Australia. Since then, she has enjoyed dives on the Great Barrier Reef, near the PhiPhi islands in Thailand, and in the Cenotes in Mexico.
