Meet the McCarthy Bertschy Team

Before joining McCarthy Bertschy, Ellen earned a journalism degree (and a Business Minor) with a focus on strategic communication at the University of Missouri. This combination allowed her to explore various facets of marketing, advertising, management, public relations, digital strategy, and research.

Ellen is from Elmhurst, Illinois, a suburb located west of Chicago. She always held a variety of year-round jobs, which instilled in her a strong work ethic that continues to thrive. Outside of the office, Ellen cherishes spending time with family, being around animals, traveling, eating good food, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Ellen has always had a huge heart for animals growing up. When she has the time, Ellen will foster up to 3 dogs at once in order to free up shelter space and give the animals the love and affection that is lacking within the system. Ellen also supports Camp Tecumseh, the World Wildlife Fund and Oceana.
